Ensure that your system is installed with SQL Package v19 Build 16, before proceeding with the Smart Completions upgrade for Update 12 or above.

Upgrade limitations for Update 17:

When you are upgrading from Update 17 to Update 18 or later, you are required to uninstall the software and install the Update 18 setup manually. For more information, on back up, see Back up the SC Database, on uninstallation, see Modify or un-install Smart Completions, and for re-installation, see Installation Process.

When you are upgrading from U18 or later you can follow the regular upgrade process. For more information, see Upgrade to Smart Completions latest from 5.3.17.
