Retrieve functions are alternative sources of data for Smart Plant Construction properties during retrieval.
For example, a property may need to be initialized to “N/A”, a fixed string value, upon retrieval, regardless of any property values on the corresponding Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) object. In this case the function SetStringLiteralMapFunction with “N/A” as its argument could be used in the EFProperty field in the RetrieveMappings spreadsheet in lieu of an SPF property association.
