You can create a group for your 3D models, reassign models to a different group, or ungroup the models.
You must have the SPC_GroupModels access group associated with your role in order to manage model groups. For more information, see Configure access groups.
The below procedure applies to Thumbnail and Detail views of the Models browser.

A group name must be unique and it must begin with a letter. Special characters such as " * ' ? % / \ cannot be used.

After you save, you can rename a group only if the group contains one model.

Right-click on a model, and then enter a new or existing group name. Press ENTER. |
Ungroup |
Right-click on the model, and then remove the group name. Press ENTER. |
Change a group |
Remove the existing group name and enter the target group name. |
Remove a group |
Reassign or ungroup all models under the group. |

On creating the first group, the Group Categorization pane appears on the left with ALL, UNGROUPED, and the corresponding group name.

One group can be associated to many models but only one model can be associated to one group.

Wherever you perform a search, it is applied on all the models or groups, and the corresponding groups and models are displayed.
