Configure the tool signature in the SmartPlant Spoolgen project

  1. Open I-Configure, and open the Project Defaults dialog box. For more information, see the I-Configure User's Guide.

  2. On the Project Defaults tab, verify Spoolgen is selected in the Application box.

  3. On the Attributes tab, verify Pipeline is selected in the Context box, and then add a new attribute to contain the PDS signature value.

The value in the Isogen attribute box must correspond to the POD Graphics Processor script.

Create a script for the POD Graphics Processor

You must create a script for the POD Graphics Processor, which automatically converts the UCI to match the PDS 3D object. For more information, see PDS_UCI element in the POD Graphics Processor User's Guide.

Use the script

  1. Open I-Configure, and select Spool under your project.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Select Pre and Post Processors under Drawing Manager.

  4. Browse to and select the PODGraphicsProcessor.exe delivered with SmartPlant Spoolgen in the POD-Processor box.

  5. Select Input Files under Drawing Manager.

  6. Specify the script created for the POD Graphics Processor.
