Files are not appending correctly to reports.
Explanation
If you have PDFs appending to your report and you notice they (and other file types) are not correctly appending to reports, internal formatting of the PDF might cause issues. The internal PDF formatting issue might prevent other file types from appending correctly.

To ensure correct PDF internal formatting, use authentic Adobe tools to generate PDFs.

You can correct some problems with PDF files not appending correctly by turning on optimization. Add the key AmyUni_PDF_Optimizer to the SPFAppServer.config file and set its value to 1. (By default, this file is found in the [drive]:\SmartPlant Foundation Server Files\Web_Sites\[Server]\SPFConfigService\SPFSharedSettings folder.)

If using layers in your PDF, flatten the layers before appending the files to reports.
