Duplicate Command (Edit Menu) - Intergraph Smart Electrical - Help - Hexagon

Creates a new item with a unique item tag. If a naming convention is defined for the selected item type, the new item tag follows that naming convention. This command is available when you select an item in the Electrical Index or the Reference Data Explorer.

• On the General tab (Preferences dialog), under Open after creating or duplicating an item, you can specify whether to open the Item Tag dialog when you duplicate the item.

• Some items have a Common Properties dialog from which you can edit the most common properties for the item. You can specify in the preferences to open this dialog directly when you duplicate the item.
