Enables you to view the rule name, description, or priority.

Rule name

Defines the name of the rule.

Rule description

Identifies the purpose or function of your rule.

Disable rule

Not in use. Note that only those rules appear for which this check box was not selected in the Rule Manager.

Priority

Determines which rule applies first when rules conflict with each other. Values lie in the range from 1 to 100, where 1 represents the lowest priority and 100 represents the highest. When a user of Smart Electrical performs an operation that involves items to which several rules apply, the software first applies the rules with the highest priority.

In a case of rule inconsistency, if a specific logical expression in the rule is associated with the Reject action, the software rejects the operation automatically and does not apply any other rules that has lower priorities. Likewise, if a logical expression is associated with the Warn action, and the user rejects the operation, the software does not apply any other rules that has lower priorities.

A priority applies to an entire rule, not to a particular logical expression.
