Allows you to back up the site and/or plant structure information, depending on which node you select in the Tree view before using the Backup command. To back up the site, select the Site Server node and then select Tools > Backup. To back up just a plant, select the plant under the Plant Structures node and then select Tools > Backup.

Only a Site Administrator can perform a backup.

When backing up a site or plant with SQL Server, the user running the SQL Server instance must have Read/Write access to the share where the backup .zip file is located.

Backing up a plant automatically includes all projects in the plant.
