The Intergraph Smart® Instrumentation Administration Smart API has been developed to allow Smart Instrumentation Administration users to connect to their site and plant data from anywhere there is an internet connection.
Users with the correct permissions can, using a simple application such as Postman, carry out administrative actions as if they were connected to the desktop version of Smart Instrumentation Administration module. From creating Domains and Plants, creating groups and assigning permissions, backing up and restoring data and so forth.
