After running a database check, selecting the link that appears on the Data Integrity Checker Utility window opens the Issues Summary dialog. The Issues Summary dialog displays issues that need repairing. The dialog consists of a number of columns and rows, each row corresponds to a specific issue.

  • The Data Integrity Checker Utility solutions are supplied as a locked file and can only be opened and updated by Smart Community support.

  • It is recommended that you also check the log file even if no issues were reported. This file is in the DataIntegrity\logs folder.

The columns are:

Check Boxes

Select the check box next to the issue you want to repair. To select all the check boxes, check the top check box in the Column Name row.

No.

The row number.

Command ID

The issue ID number.

Category Type

The Category Type of the issue.

Issues Found

A brief description of the issue. One of the following letters displays at the beginning of the row.

E

Stands for Execute, indicating that you can run the command.

I

Stands for Information, indicating that it is not necessary to run this command.

R

Stands for Review, indicating that the command needs to be reviewed by customer support before you run it.

Status

The status of the issue found. These statuses consist of the following:

Ready to repair

An issue has been found that the software can fix.

Repaired

The issue has been repaired.

Manual repair

The repair is not possible with the repairs supplied with the software. Please create a log file and contact Customer Support at Smart Community. See Export File below.

Rows Found

The number of rows within the database in which this issue has been found.

Select this Icon to open a more detailed description of the issue.

File version

The version number of the DataIntegrityCommands.ddti file installed with the Data Integrity Checker Utility.

  • The File version is not the software version number.

  • If you are asked what version of the solutions file you are running, this is the number requested.

  • You can also use this version number to confirm that the DataIntegrityCommands.ddti file you are working with is the most up to date.

Export File

Select to create a file of the selected issues for sending to support.

To export the Issues file, you must have Microsoft Excel installed on your computer.

Repair

Select to start repairing the selected issues in your database.
