You use this dialog box to view the current sorting sequence for display of data in the Working Data window, the Default Data window, or the Vendor Data window. To edit the sorting sequence or to add sorting sequence levels, click Edit.
Name — Type the sorting sequence name.
Data Field Header — Select the field by which you want to sort the data displayed in the relevant window.
Start Char. — Type the starting position — the left-most character — of the selected sorting field.
Length — Type the total number of characters that you want to consider from the selected field.
Order — To sort by ascending order of the selected field, select Ascending. To sort by descending order of the selected field, clear Ascending.
Edit — Allows you to make changes to the sort sequence.
Save — (available after you click Edit). Saves the browser sort changes.
Insert — (available after you click Edit). Inserts a new sorting row after the current row.
