The System Administrator has rights to set logon passwords for Smart Instrumentation users and can override any password changes made by other users. Therefore, after changing the password, you must inform the System Administrator of such a change.

Changing Smart Instrumentation logon passwords does not apply to users who log on to the software using Windows authentication logon method.

Select File > Change Password.

In the Current password field, type your current logon password. Passwords appear masked.

In the New password field, type the new password. You can use alphanumeric values in either upper or lower case. The maximum length of your password can be 15 characters.

In the Confirm new password field, retype the new password.

Select OK.
