After selecting an Instrument Tag number, in this dialog you select where in the plant or Domain hierarchy you want to move the Instrument Tag number.
The data window displays <plants>, <areas>, and <units> that exist in the domain. The software displays all the plant hierarchy items in a manner very similar to the method used in Windows Explorer. You can choose the hierarchy item you want by expanding and collapsing the hierarchy using the or buttons beside the icons or by double-clicking the icons in the display.
When you start Smart Instrumentation, the software selects the <unit> where you last worked before exiting.
If you move a tag number that is associated with a loop to another plant hierarchy item, only the tag number is moved and its association with the loop is broken. The loop remains in the current plant hierarchy item.
The following icons indicate one example of various hierarchy levels:
— Domain
— Project or As-Built (available only when the domain type is Owner operator or EPC-Project Mode)
— <Plant>
— <Area>
— <Unit>
