You use revisions to keep track of the changes made to your process data. It is important and useful to have a chronological description of the changes, dates of change, and a list of persons who approved them. You can add, edit, and delete revisions. The Process Data module shares the following two types of revisions with the rest of Smart Instrumentation: local revisions and global revisions. There is an additional type of revision available only in the Process Data module, which is an external revision.
If the process data workflow control has been enabled, only users with access rights
are able to edit the Process Data Revisions. For more details, see Workflow.
