This dialog appears when you try to restore a form that already exists.

Overwrite current form

Allows you to overwrite an existing form with the form you are restoring, provided that there are no specifications based on this form. When overwriting the form, the software automatically dissociates all the form pages and then prompts you to delete the pages that are not assigned to any other spec form. The software always restores the form with the supplied library page associated with the form because a form cannot exist without a page. If the form page contains sections, the software restores the sections as well.

Recreate as new

Allows you to re-create the form as a new form on the basis of the form you selected on the Restore Form dialog. You use this option if the selected form is in use in specifications.

Highest available form number

Allows you to specify a unique number for the form you re-create as new. The software automatically displays the highest available form number.

Page name

Allows you to enter a unique page name for the form you re-create as new. The software automatically appends the highest available increment number to the page name. The suffix is preceded with an underscore. For example, if the existing page name is Rupture Disk, the software displays the new page name as Rupture Disk_1.

OK

Restores the form according to the restore option you selected. When overwriting the form, the software displays a prompt message where you can select Yes to delete the pages that are no longer associated with any form or select No to retain these pages in Smart Instrumentation. If you select No, the software automatically renames the page by appending the highest available increment number to the page name. The suffix is preceded with an underscore.
