In Smart Instrumentation, save the spec page as a .psr file and then open the .psr file in InfoMaker. For details, see Open a Form Page in InfoMaker.

For each field that you want to format, do the following to set the number of decimal places that are displayed in Smart Instrumentation and later in Excel:

Select in the field.

On the Format tab of the Properties dialog, under Format, type 0. followed by pound signs ( #) to indicate the required number of decimal places. For example, 0. indicates no decimal places, 0.# indicates one decimal place, 0.### indicates three decimal places, and so forth.

On the menu bar, select File > Save as File.

On the Select File Name dialog, type the file name that you require.

Import the page back into Smart Instrumentation.

Regenerate the spec page and specification, and save the specification again in Excel format.
