You open existing work requests from the Maintenance Activities Summary window > Work requests pane.
If you don't see your work requests in the Work requests pane, select Actions > Refresh.
New work requests are issued from the Actions > Create Work Request, or by selecting 
on the Maintenance Activities Summary toolbar.
When you issue or open a work request, Smart Instrumentation automatically assigns this record a work request number that you can modify if needed.
