You use this dialog to configure the pins of a connector type.
To open this dialog, on the Connector Types dialog, select a connector type, and select Configure.
Configuration name
Displays the name of the current connector type for which you want to define a configuration.
Total number of pins
Allows you to enter the number of pins required for this configuration.
Number of pins per channel
Allows you to enter the number of pins per channel.
Find name
Finds a record in the data window. You can type the item you want to find and Smart Instrumentation selects the record in the data window below.
Data Window
Displays the pin configuration of the current connector type. To edit, select a value, edit, and then select Apply. Any changes made to a connector type are only implemented on new connectors, not on existing connectors.
Sequence
Allows you to type an appropriate pin sequence.
Name
Allows you to type an appropriate pin number.
Polarity
Allows you to select the pin polarity from the list: +, -, Shield, Overall Shield, or None.
