A connector type defines pin configuration and other properties. When you define connectors for a cable, selecting a connector type copies these properties for the cable connector. This dialog allows you to create and manage the connector types required for your plug-and- socket boxes and for cables that require connectors.

You can create new connector types, edit the properties of existing connector types, and delete connector types. Connector type definition includes such properties as the connector type name, connector manufacturer and model, and part number. You can also access the Connector Type Configuration dialog, where you configure the pins of the selected connector type.

To open this dialog, in the Wiring Module window, select Tables > Connector > Type.
