This dialog enables you to filter the data window in the Local Signal dialog determining the tag numbers that Smart Instrumentation displays in the Tag Number column.
To open this dialog, select Filter on the Local Signal dialog.
Filter for
Indicates that this filter applies to wiring signals.
Definition
The options in this data window allow you to define a filter condition.
Property
Allows you to select an appropriate tag number property according to which you want to filter the data window in the Local Signal dialog.
Operator
Allows you to select a comparison operator to determine how the tag number property relates to the expression that you enter in the Value field.
Value
Allows you to select or type a value to determine how to specify the tag number property you selected in the Property field. You can use wildcards such as % (percent) and _ (underscore) to set the value.
Logic
Allows you to select a logical operator to determine how the next filter expression will relate to the current one (if applicable).
Apply filter settings in all sessions
Saves these filter condition settings and applies this filter the next time that you open the Local Signal dialog. Note that you can restore your last filter settings if you previously selected this check box.
Pre-assigned signals only
Retrieves only those tag numbers that were imported from Smart Electrical for which there is an association to a power distribution board (PDB) in Smart Electrical. This option is available only when you select Smart Electrical Electrical tags only.
Smart Electrical tags only
Retrieves only those tag numbers that were imported from Smart Electrical.
Add
Adds another data row for an additional filter expression if needed. Make sure you select an appropriate logical operator at the end of the previous row.
Verify
Verifies the correctness of your filter condition.
Reset
Resets the filter condition to the previous state the last time you clicked OK after selecting Apply filter settings in all sessions.
