You use this dialog to find a particular terminal on a terminal strip selected in the Connection window.
To open this dialog, in the Connection window, select View > Find Terminal.
Panel
Displays the name of the Connection window current panel.
Strip
Displays the name of the Connection window current strip.
Go to terminal
Allows you to select one of the following criteria:
By name
Searches by the name of the terminal. In the text box to the right, you can type a name of a terminal. Smart Instrumentation searches for this terminal in the Connection window as you type.
By sequence
Searches for a terminal by its sequence number, as defined on the Terminals dialog. In the text box to the right, you can type a sequence name. Smart Instrumentation searches in the Connection window as you type.
Match case of terminal name
Switches to case- sensitive mode.
Find next available terminal
These options allow you to find the next available terminal.
Available terminal
After clicking Find Next, displays the next available terminal.
Find Next
Displays the name of the next available terminal in the Available terminal box.
