The following commands are used when working in the Document Binder module. Note that some of the options are available only if the feature is applicable for the selected item.
Actions > New Binder Package
Allows you to create a new Specification Binder or General Document Binder package.
Actions > Document Explorer
Displays the Document Explorer from which you can select documents to add to General Document Binder packages
Actions > Assign Specification
Opens the Find Tag dialog to assign a new instrument specification to a Specification Binder package (Specification Binder packages only).
Actions > Tag Number Sequence
Allows you to edit the item numbers that affect the order of the specifications within a Specification Binder package (Specification Binder packages only).
Actions > New General Note
Creates a new general note for the binder package.
Actions > Associate External Documents
Opens a dialog to manage files associated with the binder package. You can associate a new file, dissociate a current file, or open an associated file
Actions > Up a Level
Changes the selection to one level above the current selection.
Actions > Find Item
Finds an element in the left pane of the Document Binder window.
Actions > Open
If the selected item is a note, opens it for editing in the Note Editor. If the selected item is Specification List or Change Summary Report, opens it in print preview format.
Actions > Delete
Deletes an element displayed in the left pane of the Document Binder window.
Actions > Print
Prints the current binder package.
Actions > Print to File
Prints the current binder package to a PDF file. Smart Instrumentation offers you the options of selecting which revision to print, and of which documents to print.
Actions > Save to File
Saves the current binder package to a ZIP file. Smart Instrumentation offers you the options of selecting which revision to save, and of which documents to save.
Actions > Repaginate
Repaginates all documents in the current Specification Binder package (Specification Binder packages only).
Actions > Revisions
Allows you to add or delete revisions in the binder package.
Actions > Specification Change Notification
Marks specifications included in a binder package for inclusion in the next revision, or for exclusion from the next revision (Specification Binder packages only).
Actions > Manage Revisions
Performs operations connected with binder package revisions, including changing the format to which you save binder package revisions.
Actions > Refresh
Refreshes the display of binder package data on the screen.
Actions > Properties
Displays general and revision information and statistics for the selected binder package.
