This workflow shows how marked for deletion works when you create an instrument in a Smart P&ID drawing which is then published to Smart Instrumentation. After publication the instrument is then deleted from the Smart P&ID drawing and republished to Smart Instrumentation.

MFD-01

  1. An instrument is created in a Smart P&ID drawing.

  2. The Smart P&ID drawing is published to Smart Instrumentation where a Create task is added to the To Do List.

  3. The Create task is run from the To Do List and the new instrument is created in the Domain Explorer in Smart Instrumentation.

  4. The instrument is deleted from the Smart P&ID drawing.

  5. In the To Do List of Smart Instrumentation a Marked for Deletion task is created.

  6. The Marked for Deletion task is changed to a Delete task, and the task then run from the To Do List.

  7. The instrument is deleted from Smart Instrumentation.
