You use this dialog to select a domain (and a project when the domain type is <unit> where you are going to work when you start the main Smart Instrumentation program or a utility. You also access this dialog when switching from one <unit> to another.
(Data Window)
The data window displays all the available, <plants>, <areas>, and <units> that exist
in the current domain. The software displays all the plant hierarchy items in a manner
very similar to the method used in Windows Explorer. You can expand and collapse the
hierarchy by clicking 
or 
beside the icons or by double-clicking the icons in the display.
When you start Smart Instrumentation, the software selects the <unit> where you last worked before exiting.
The following icons indicate one example of various hierarchy levels:
— Domain
— Project or As-Built (available only when the domain type is Owner operator or EPC-Project Mode)
— <Plant>
— <Area>
— <Unit>
