Use this dialog to print item specifications into a shared .pdf file or to print each specification into an individual .pdf file.
Print all into one file
Allows you to print a batch of item specifications into a shared .pdf file.
Print into individual files
Allows you to print each specification into an individual .pdf file. When creating a .pdf file name for an item specification, the software uses the name of the item as a source. If the item name includes characters other than alphanumeric characters (that is, \-/(#) and so forth), the software converts them to underscores. The software retains hyphens and spaces.
For example, if the item name is 101-FT-100\B, the created .pdf file name is 101-FT- 100_B.pdf. If the item name is 12P#20 TYPE E I/OAS (CUSTOM), the created .pdf file name is 12P_20 TYPE E I_OAS _CUSTOM_.pdf.
The Domain Administrator has rights to set the software to remove spaces in file names for certain types of documents. This is possible on the Naming Conventions dialog of the Administration module, after selecting Document Number (Instrument specs) from the Convention list.
