Browser Group

The first level of the hierarchy stands for a Browser Group which represents a module or an item category (for example, Specifications). Each group can contain one or more browsers.

Browser

Each browser is associated with the data of a particular module (for example,Specification forms in the Specifications module or an item type whose data it displays. A browser contains one or more viewing templates or views that you can select and modify to customize the way the corresponding data is displayed in the Browser View window.

You cannot add or delete any browser group or browser, nor can you change their names. You can only delete a custom browser.

View

Each view (a viewing template) contains the viewing settings: viewing style, sorting order, and filtering condition. These settings will be used to display the data that the selected view is associated with. You can add, delete, modify, or duplicate the view profile to customize the way the data is displayed in the Browser View window.
