Use this dialog to view, define, or modify calibration profiles. You must select a calibration profile in order to perform a calibration activity. In most cases, you will want to define at least one profile for each type of calibration that you carry out, for example function check, single point calibration, fiscal flow meter, and so forth. After defining a calibration profile, it becomes available for association with one or more instrument types and for selection when calibrating instruments belonging to those instrument types.

Calibration type

Allows you to classify the profile according to the type of calibration it is used for, such as a function check or a single point calibration. Each profile must belong to a calibration type. The calibration type provides a convenient means of organizing your profiles. While you cannot modify or add calibration types, there is no restriction as to the way you want to organize your profiles.

Show profiles of all calibration types

Displays all the calibration profiles of every type. When you select this check box, the New command is disabled.

Find a calibration profile

Use this field to search for a particular profile in the data window. As you type the name of the profile that you want to find, the software selects the row in the data window.

Details

Type a name for the profile. This is the name that appears in the list of calibration profiles available for associating with an instrument type, or for selection when opening a data entry form. All calibration profile names must be unique, regardless of the calibration type to which the profile belongs.

Description

Allows you to type a more detailed description of the profile, if required.

Procedure

Free-text field that allows you to type details of the calibration procedure, if required.

Calibration Settings Form

Displays the name of the assigned calibration settings form.

Calibration Data Entry Form

Adds a new line to allow you to define a new calibration profile.

Assign Forms

Opens the Assign Forms dialog. Every calibration profile must have a settings form and a data entry form assigned to it.

Delete

Deletes the selected profile. Note that you cannot delete a profile if it is associated with an instrument type, nor can you delete the standard profile.
