This dynamic dialog allows you to set parameters for calibration report generation. The exact dialog title and the parameters available vary from report to report.
Date range
The options in this section allow you to set a calibration date range for the instruments that you include in the report (not available for Instrument List, Instrument Structure, and Safeguarding Check List reports).
Specified dates
Select this option button to set the calibration date range by entering dates in the From and To fields. In From, type or select the start of the calibration period; in To, type or select the end of the calibration period.
Predefined period
Select this option button to set the calibration date range by using Last, Current, or Next from the first list and Week, Month, or Year from the second list.
Filter by
The options in this section allow you to set a filter condition for the items that you want to include in the report. Note that some of these options are not available for certain reports.
<Area>
Type the name of the intermediate level plant hierarchy item in your domain for which you want to generate the report.
<Unit>
Type the name of the lowest level plant hierarchy item in your domain (such as a unit) for which you want to generate the report.
Instrument type
Type the instrument type of the instruments that you want to include in the report. You can use wildcards to specify the required instrument type.
Calibration result
Select the required calibration result from the list. Note that Failed is the default selection (available for the Calibration Result report).
Calculated point
Select the required calculation point from the list, (available for the Loop Error report).
Result code
Type the calibration failure result code for the instruments to be included in the report (available for Monthly Result Code Analysis reports).
Action code
Type the action code for the instruments that you want to include in the report (available for Monthly Action Code Analysis reports).
Diagnostic code
Type the diagnostic code for the instruments that you want to include in the report (available for Monthly Diagnostic Code Analysis reports).
Damage code
Type the damage code for the instruments that you want to include in the report (available for Monthly Damage Code Analysis reports).
System category
Type the instrument system category for the instruments that you want to include in the report. You define system category values in the EDE View (EDE Actions tab). You can then associate instrument tags and system categories in a many-to-many relationship. In this way, you can generate a report for all the instruments that belong to a particular system category that you define, such as Safeguard.
Calibration equipment
Type the name of the calibration equipment or select to open the Select Test Equipment dialog from which you can search for the item of equipment that you want to include in the report (available for the Calibration Equipment report).
Loop number
Type the loop number of the instruments to filter for the report, or, if available, select to open the Find Loop dialog from which you can search for one or more loop numbers according to the specific report. If more than one loop has been selected, the text Multiple loops selected appears. If you leave this field empty, the software generates a report for all the loops for which a calculation has been performed.
Tag class
Select the tag class for the required tag number.
-
If you use the Calibration Report - Find Items dialog to select a tag number, the value in this field represents the tag class that is displayed in the Calibration Report - Find Items dialog.
-
The default setting for the Tag Class is All, where all tag numbers with calibration data are displayed in the Calibration Report - Find Items dialog.
Tag number
Type the tag number of the instrument or equipment you want to include in the report, or, if available, select to open the Find Tag dialog from which you can search for one or more tag numbers according to the specific report. If more than one instrument has been selected, the text Multiple tags selected appears.
Enable wildcards
Select this check box to enable wildcards to represent part or all of a tag number or a loop number.
Report style
Note that some of these options are not available for certain reports.
Use old style
Select this check box to use the old report style that was available prior to Version 2007.5 for loop or tag check list reports. Clear the check box to generate reports based on the calibration profile settings form for each tag.
Show expected output
Select this check box to include in the report the expected output in absolute values of the output signal for each calibration point.
Show category
Select this check box to filter the instruments according to the system category definition. Clear the check box to include all instrument system categories in the report (available for Check List and History Event Details reports).
