Manage the Function Blocks Supporting Table - Intergraph Smart Instrumentation - Help

1. On the Instrument Index module menu bar, Select Tables > Function Blocks.

2. Select New to append a new data row or Select in a field of a selected row to edit the data.

3. Type the function block values in the appropriate fields as follows:

   Function Block

   Enter the required function block name.

   Description

   Type a description for the function block if required.

   Multiple

   Select the check box to define this function block as a multiple function block. This will enable you to create multiple function blocks of the same type when adding or editing an instrument associated with this function block.

   Execution Time

   Select the check box to enable execution time definition for the current function block. You will be able to set the execution time when associating this function block with an instrument type or an instrument tag.

4. Select OK.

You cannot delete or rename shipped function blocks.
