Create a Profibus PA Segment - Intergraph Smart Instrumentation - Help

In the Domain Explorer, expand the Fieldbus Segments folder.

Right-click a DP segment and then select New > Profibus PA Segment.

In the Profibus PA Segment Properties dialog, type the segment name.

Select a segment-wide parameter profile if needed. You can select to define a new segment-wide parameter profile if you need one. For details, see Define Segment-Wide Parameters.

Select the Intrinsically safe check box if you want to define the new segment as intrinsically safe.

Select OK to create the new segment.
