This dialog allows you to create hook-up items in batch mode and assign them to the default sub-library you selected in the Reference Explorer. You can also set the item properties on the fly. Batch item creation is not possible under user-defined sub-libraries.
Item library
Displays the item library to which the selected default sub-library belongs.
Item sub-library
Displays the default sub-library you selected in the Reference Explorer.
Item numbers to create
Allows you to enter the number of the items that you want to create in batch mode under the selected default sub-library. You can use the spinner to enter the number of the items in the box.

Prefix
Allows you to assign a prefix to all the items (optional).
Start from number
Allows you to specify the starting number you want to append to the item name.
If you leave the Start from number box empty, after you select OK, the software automatically appends 0 (zero) to the name of the first item in the batch.
Increment by
Displays the default value 1. To ensure item name uniqueness within the current default sub-library, the software increments every subsequent item number in the batch of items by one digit. You can use the spinner to change the incrementing value as needed. For example, if your want to create three items with prefix MyItem, the Start from number value 5, and the Increment by value 2, the software creates the following items: MyItem5, MyItem7, and MyItem9.
OK
Opens the Hook-Up Item Properties dialog, where you can define properties for each item and complete the item creation. If you only want to create the items, on the Hook-Up Item Properties dialog, select OK.
