This dialog allows you create a new instrument block type or modify properties of one or more existing instrument types you selected in the Drawing Block Types folder of the Domain Explorer. Instrument block types are shown with the icon PPM All Outputs Graphic. A block type that you add becomes available in all the <plants> of the current domain because block types are defined at the domain level.

Block type

Allows you to type a unique name for the new instrument block type. Block type names are not case- sensitive. For example, block type names MyBlockType and myBlockType are considered not unique.

Block type description

Allows you to type an optional description for the new block type.
