This dialog enables you to define preventive maintenance attachments - external documents containing a set of instructions that are provided to the maintenance crew. An attachment can be a text document, a drawing, and so forth. You need to define attachments before you can start scheduling preventive maintenance.
To open this dialog, select Tables > Attachments.
Data Window
All the fields in this data window are editable. You can select in a field and type the required value. You can also use the Tab key to move to the next field. The fields are as follows:
Name
Type the attachment name.
Description
Type the attachment description.
File
The external file associated with the attachment. You can type in the exact filename or select Browse to navigate to the required file. This automatically enters the selected filename in this field.
Path
The exact filepath of the external file associated with the attachment. You can either type in the exact filepath or select Browse to navigate to the required file. This automatically enters the selected filepath in this field.
New
Inserts a new row and define a new attachment.
Delete
Deletes the selected attachment.
View
Allows you to view the external document.
Browse
Navigates to the required file.
