The following commands are available from any Merger Comparison List window.
File > Open
Displays the Open dialog, where you can select the target domain's plant hierarchy item.
File > Change Password
Opens a dialog to customize the password.
File > Printer Setup
Opens your printer setup dialog.
File > New
Opens the New Log File dialog where you specify the name for a new log file that the software creates during the merging process.
File > Open
Selects the log file that you want the software to use during the merging process.
File > Delete
Selects a log file to delete.
File > View
Displays the current log file.
File > Close
Closes the current log file.
File > Exit
Exits the Merger Utility.
Actions > Save
Saves the comparison list with the current settings, including sort order, filters, and selected records. The next time you generate a comparison list for the selected item type, it appears with the saved settings.
Actions > Close
Closes the comparison list with the previous settings. If you made any changes, you are prompted whether to save them.
Actions > Filter
Opens the Merger Comparison List Filter Dialog to allow you to filter the data in the comparison list.
Actions > Sort
Opens the Select Columns for Sorting Dialog to allow you to sort the records to be displayed.
Actions > View
Opens the Select Columns for Viewing Dialog to allow you to select the data columns to be displayed.
Actions > Report
Opens the Merger Comparison List Report Dialog to display a print preview of the comparison list. From this preview, you can print the report or save it in a number of different formats.
Actions > Information
Opens the Record Count dialog that displays summary information about the number of records for each mode (insert, delete, update, unchanged), and the number of selected records.
Actions > Options
Opens the Merge Options dialog.
Actions > Duplicates
Opens the Duplicate Items dialog for troubleshooting two or more items that are actually identical, but which for some reason, have different names and therefore appear to be different items.
Actions > Next Level
Displays comparison data for the next lowest level in the hierarchy of the selected item type. For example, if you select one or more cables, this option displays the comparison list for the selected cable sets. This option applies for panels and cables only.
Actions > Select Records
Use these options to select the records that you want to include in the merge process.
Actions > 1 Side
Displays additional comparison data for the wire-terminal connections of the selected panel, strip, terminal, cable, set, or wire.
Actions > 2 Sides
Opens the Merger Comparison List - Termination dialog to display comparison data for wiring connections to the selected panel, strip, or terminal on its left and right sides.
Actions > Cross Wire
Opens the Merger Comparison List - Cross Wire Connections dialog to display the cross wiring connection comparison data for the selected panel.
Actions > Jumper
Opens the Merger Comparison List - Jumper Connections dialog to display the jumper comparison data for the selected panel.
Actions > Signals
Opens the Merger Comparison List - Signals dialog to display the signal comparison data for the selected tag.
Actions > Process Data
Opens the Merger Comparison List - Process Data dialog to display the process data comparison data for the selected line or tag.
Actions > Specification
Opens the Merger Comparison List - Specs dialog to display the specification comparison data for the selected tag.
