This dialog enables you to select and connect to another source database if you want to copy data from a domain other than the target domain.

DBMS

Allows you to select the required database platform of the source domain.

Profile name (available only if you selected ODBC from the DBMS list)

Allows you to select an installed or predefined ODBC profile for SQL Server.

If you need to connect to a domain residing in another SQL Server database, you cannot use existing profiles that are available for selection in the Profile name list but must first define an ODBC profile for connection to the source database. When creating a new ODBC profile for SQL Server, make sure the new profile name is unique in the Windows registry of the computer where you run the Merger Utility.

Server name (available only if you selected an Oracle version from the DBMS list)

Allows you to type the server name where the source domain is located.

Database name (available only if you selected an Oracle version from the DBMS list)

Allows you to type the database name where the source domain is located.

Login name

Allows you to select the logon name of the source domain.

Login password

Allows you to type the password required to connect to the source domain.
