The main window of the application opens after you select a <unit> in the Open dialog before starting any module for the current session.
Menu bar
Provides access to all the Main Window Commands.
Application work area
The area that displays the windows and dialog boxes of the modules that you open.
Toolbar
Provides access to the most common commands.
Status bar
Shows the current status or the pertinent Microhelp message, plant hierarchy items, and the current date and time.
Quick Search
Retrieves items in the Domain and Reference Explorers, at the same time. In addition,
you can access a more advanced search by clicking 
to open the Search dialog.
