This tab option allows you to choose whether to automatically build complementary data (specifications, process data, hook-ups, calibration data, DDP module data, and custom fields) after merging tag numbers.
Merge complementary data automatically
Select this check box to specify automatic creation of empty complementary data after merging tag numbers. When you select this option, if necessary, the software builds the complementary data in the order defined in the merge process.
Clear this check box if you do not want to build complementary data. In this case, after merging the main data, you can select the Complementary Data button on the Merger dialog Postprocess folder to view missing complementary data, and if required, you can choose to build the missing data. We recommend that when selecting data to merge in the module list or comparison list, you include all complementary data for merging with the main data, to preserve data integrity.
