Use these options to instruct the Merger Utility whether to use comparison list data in the merge process and how to transfer this data. This tab folder is available only after running a comparison list.
Use comparison list data
Select this option to instruct the Merger Utility to include comparison list data in the merge process. This action enables the Mode and Parameters options. Make sure that you select this option after making your data selection in the comparison list.
Do not select this option if you want transfer all the data of selected modules or sub-modules.
Mode
The selected mode determines how the Merger Utility treats the data.
Delete
Selecting this merge mode deletes the data that exists only in the target <unit>, that is, it deletes the target data indicated by the Merger Comparison List dialog as being non-existent in the source.
Insert/Update
Selecting this merge mode transfers the source data to the target by inserting new values or overwriting old values with the new ones.
Delete tags when deleting loops
If you selected the Delete option, selecting this option deletes all the tags associated with the target loops that to be deleted.
Include all reference tables
Select this check box to include in the data transfer all the existing referenced supporting tables. This ensures the transfer of data from all reference tables which is crucial when merging instrument index data, process data, and wiring data.
