The Complex Filter button is located on the top right corner, just above the grid.

On the EDE View’s main window, select
(Complex Filter)

On the Complex Filter dialog, from the first select list, select the column header name of where you want to apply the first part of the complex filter.

Select the required operator from the Operator list.

Enter or select a value in the Value field.
This is a dynamic field that changes in relation to the operator chosen, from a blank
field where you type a value, to a select list where you select a value.

Select the required logic operator, And/Or.

Select
to add another row to the filter.
At any time select the Filter button to apply the filter to the grid, and see that the filter is progressing along
the lines that you require.

Repeat the above process until you have completed creating your filter.

Select Filter, to apply the filter.

Every time you open/generate the EDE View, the filter is applied to the specific EDE View until you edit or remove the filter.

Select (Clear Filter)
, to reset the EDE View
