Allows you to set additional filter definitions for loop numbers that appear in the Loops folder of the current explorer window. You can select one or more CAD drawing blocks and only display those loops whose instrument tags contain the selected blocks as associated child items.

Filter loops according to blocks

Blocks associated with tags

Displays blocks that are associated with loop tags. After you select one or more blocks, in the Loops folder of the current explorer window, the software only displays loops whose blocks are associated with the tags using the block-tag assignment method.

Blocks associated with instrument types

Displays blocks that are associated with the instrument type of the loop tags. After you select these blocks, in the Loops folder of the current explorer window, the software only displays loops whose blocks are associated with the tags using the block- instrument type assignment method.

  • If you need, you can select blocks from both data windows, that is, any combination of blocks associated with instrument types and blocks associated with tag numbers.

  • In the Loops folder, blocks associated with tags using the manual block assignment method are marked with PPM All Outputs Graphic. Blocks associated with tags using the automatic block assignment method are marked with PPM All Outputs Graphic.

Display level for blocks

Highest plant hierarchy level

Displays blocks on the highest level of the plant hierarchy defined by the Domain Administrator. The default level is Plant.

Lowest plant hierarchy level

Displays blocks on the lowest level of the plant hierarchy defined by the Domain Administrator. The default level is Unit.
