In this dialog, you view components, such as loops and instruments, and define identifying details and properties.
Macro item list
Item type
The item type such as Loop.
Item name
The item name.
Property assigned
Indicates whether an item has been assigned a name or its value is defined. Possible values are:
Yes
Item name or value are defined.
No
Item name or value are not defined.
Apply item properties for all items
Select this for all items to have the same properties as the item you select.
Naming tab
Item type
Allows you to select item type such as Loop.
Item number
Allows you to define the item number according to the appropriate naming convention.

Item number characters can only be alphanumeric.

If you do not include a suffix, tag numbers that are identical to the selected items are created automatically.

If you include a suffix the software verifies that none of the created tag numbers with the suffix are duplicates of existing tag numbers. Duplicate tag numbers are not created.
Global properties tab
Name
Name of the property.
Selecting Instrument General > Drawing name verifies selecting a P&ID related drawing name.
Value
Enter the value of the selected property.
Value entries must correspond to the allowed values for the item type. For example, you must enter a date in the following format (DD/MM/YY) in the Instrument custom date field item types.
Export
Saves screen data in an XML file.
Exported property Values that are longer than 200 characters are truncated to 200 characters in the exported XML file.
Import
Opens an XML file with batch macro data.
Search
Enter a string and select Enter to retrieve a list of corresponding items. Enter a question mark (?) to retrieve a list of item types that have defined values.
