You use this dialog to perform any of the following activities:

  • Create or modify a form data template for a given spec form.

  • Select a form data template as a source for copying data to a spec form.

  • Delete a form data template.

Data Window

Displays all form data templates you defined for the current spec form. If no form data templates exist for the current form, the data window displays UNDEFINED. If you opened several new form data templates from the Form Data Template Editor, they do not appear in the data window until you save them. You can view the list of all opened templates on the Window menu.

When deleting form data templates, you can use the mouse to select multiple records while holding down the CTRL or SHIFT key.

New (available only if at least one form data template exists)

Allows you to enter a new form data template name for the current form. The name is not case-sensitive. When you select New, in the new row, the software automatically displays UNDEFINED. We recommend that you define unique and meaningful names for your form data templates. The software does not check whether the template names are unique.

Select all (available only when deleting form data templates)

Allows you to delete all form data templates associated with the current form.
