The following commands are used when working with multi- tag instrument specifications.
Action Menu Commands
Open Specification
Allows you to open an existing multi-tag specification or create a new one.
Save
Saves the displayed specification.
Save as Excel
Saves the displayed specification as an external Microsoft Excel file.
Import Data
Imports specification data from an external file.
Copy from Template
Copies specification data from a form data template.
Copy from Specification
Copies specification data from another specification.
Export Data
Exports specification data in .isf format of the currently open specification.
Change Format
Reassigns the displayed specification to another format.
Revisions
Allows you to define and manage specification revisions.
Expands Notes
Displays the Notes page of the displayed specification.
Multiple Tags
Displays the Multi-Tag List page of the current specification (available only when a common page is displayed).
Add Tags
Allows you to associate unassigned instruments with the current spec.
Move from Single
Moves an instrument tag from a single-tag spec to the current multi-tag spec.
Remove Tags
Cancels the association of an instrument with the current multi-tag specification.
Move to Single
Moves the selected tags to single-tag specifications, based on the current format.
Move to Another Multi-Tag List
Moves the selected tags to the multi-tag list of another specification.
Find
Finds and select an instrument tag number in the Multi-Tag List page of the current spec.
Manufacturers
Allows you to add, edit, and delete instrument manufacturer data from the Instrument Manufacturer supporting table and lists.
Models
Allows you to add, edit, and delete instrument model data from the Instrument Model supporting tables and lists. Instrument models are categorized by instrument manufacturer.
Compare with External
Marks the values that differ from the data in an external .isf file.
Actions > Compare with Revision
Marks the values that differ from the data in a saved revision.
Prints the displayed specification.
Refresh
Refreshes the display of data on the screen.
Options Menu Commands
History Options
Opens a dialog to set specification history indication. History indication is only possible if the System Administrator has enabled the use of audit trail options in your domain.
Mark Changes
Marks the changes in the current specification for the dates you selected in the History Options dialog. This option is available only if the System Administrator has enabled the use of audit trail options in the current domain. Enabling this option disables the Compare function available in the print preview.
