This page displays a composite specification, in which every item is assigned to a specific section. A section with item type Instrument can be associated with more than one instrument or instrument process data case. In a specification that contains more than one instrument, the instrument tags are sorted by tag number according to the section arrangement in the Page Editor. If such a spec contains more than one instrument assigned to the same section, the software multiplies the section either from left to right or from top to bottom, according to the setting you select on the Select Sections for Composite Page Dialog. When the number of items is large, the software cannot display all of the items on the same page and, therefore, automatically creates additional pages to display all the items you assigned to the current spec sections. In a loop composite spec, the loop section is only displayed on the first page.

If the spec contains a header section, it is always the left- most section on the page, regardless of the position you defined for it in the Page Editor. If the spec contains process data cases of a specific instrument, the case sections are always tiled vertically and sorted from left to right in ascending order. You cannot change the case sort order on the spec page.

The bottom area of the specification does not display the title block or the spec revisions. You can select Print Icon 16bit on the window toolbar to display the title block, revision data, and the spec document number in a print preview.

If you want to display a custom title block in a composite spec, your System Administrator must select the Standard custom title block assignment method when making the current domain definitions.
