In this dialog, you define the parameters for a given intrinsically safe circuit type.
For intrinsic safety calculations for a loop that includes tags associated with a given intrinsically safe circuit type, see Calculate Intrinsic Safety for a Loop.
You open this dialog from the Instrument Index Module window. Select Tables > Intrinsically Safe Circuit Types, and then select Properties.
Non-Hazardous area loop components
Use the options in this section to define the non-hazardous area loop components. If a value does not appear on a particular list, select next to the list to open a supporting table where you can add, modify, or delete items that appear on the pertinent list.
