This dialog allows you to create new wiring equipment items.
Category
Allows you to select a category to which the new wiring equipment item will belong. You can add more category items to this list on the Wiring Equipment Categories dialog.
The software automatically selects the appropriate category after clicking New > I/O Card or New > I/O Termination. In this case, the selection cannot be changed (not applicable for Telecom equipment).
Name
Allows you to type a wiring equipment name. This name appears on the relevant Properties dialog.
