The options on the General tab of the Terminal Strip Properties dialog allow you to define or modify the properties of a terminal strip.
When creating a new terminal strip, this dialog opens after configuring or selecting a strip terminal configuration on the Strip Terminal Configuration dialog.
To edit the properties of an existing terminal strip, in the Domain Explorer or Reference Explorer, right-click a terminal strip and then select Properties.
Terminal strip
Allows you to type a new terminal strip name or edit the existing one. This terminal strip name then appears in the Domain Explorer when you expand the hierarchy of the selected panel.
Panel
Displays the name of the panel to which the strip belongs.

Mounting
Allows you to type an appropriate terminal strip mounting if applicable.
Dimensions
Allows you to type an appropriate terminal strip dimensions if applicable.
Rail
Allows you to type a rail name.
Type
Allows you to select a terminal strip type. If the required type is not on the list,
select 
to open the Terminal Strip Types dialog where you can add or edit items contained on the Type select list.
Manufacturer
Allows you to select a terminal strip manufacturer. If the required manufacturer is
not on the list, select the to open the Terminal Strip Manufacturers dialog where you can add or edit items contained on the Manufacturer select list.
Model
Allows you to select a terminal strip model. If the required model is not on the list,
select the to open the Terminal Strip Models dialog where you can add or edit items contained on the Model select list.
Sequence
Allows you to enter the sequence of the current terminal strip in the parent item.
