This procedure explains how to change the tag class of an existing instrument. You can perform this procedure from the Domain Explorer or an EDE View.

In the Domain Explorer or EDE View, right-click an appropriate instrument.

Select Properties.

On the Tag Number Properties dialog, select the ellipsis button
next to the Number box.

On the Rename Tag Number dialog, select the tag class that you require.
