This dialog enables you to create a new tag for a loop functional requirement. Functional requirement is the combination of loop function and process function data for a specific loop. Functional requirement facilitates cost estimation during the early stages of your project. Cost estimation becomes possible because functional requirement contains process data, for example loop number, DN, pipe specifications, and so forth. Later on in your project, you can transfer these functional requirements to real devices.
To access this dialog, select Func. Req. on the Loop Number Properties dialog.
Tag class
Displays the functional requirement tag class.
Tag number
Enables you to type the name of a new tag number. You can make your corrections or changes by overwriting the existing values. Alternatively, you can select the characters with the mouse pointer and then type the new content.
