This option shows you how to associate an external document to existing instrument tags.

Open an Instrument EDE view.

Highlight the instrument tag you want to associate with an external file.

Right-click, and select Actions > Associate Documents.

On the Associated Documents dialog, select Associate.

On the Associate External Document dialog, navigate to the required file and select Open.

Select the Description field and type a brief description as needed.

Select OK.
